Accrelist Ltd (SGX: QZG)
03 Jul 2024: Catalist-listed Accrelist is set to acquire a 60% equity stake in Accrelist Nanjing, a health management company, for S$280,000. The acquisition, funded by internal resources, will see Accrelist's executive chairman Terence Tea become the legal representative and general manager of Accrelist Nanjing, which specialises in remote health management, traditional Chinese medicine, and non-medical health services.
Boustead Singapore Ltd (SGX: F9D)
03 Jul 2024: Boustead Singapore's unit has signed an MOU with Evotion Labs to establish the first battery charge and swop stations for electric motorcycles in Singapore, which will be deployed at properties managed by Boustead Funds Management. This collaboration will enable quick battery swaps for motorcycle users and is part of Boustead's broader initiative to enhance its real estate portfolio with renewable and sustainable solutions, including rooftop solar systems and EV charging stations.
Camsing Healthcare Ltd (SGX: BAC)
03 Jul 2024: Camsing Healthcare, which distributes and retails health supplements and foods through its brand Nature's Farm, will resume trading on the Singapore Exchange on Thursday, 4th July, after fulfilling the required conditions and completing a new investment involving the issuance of new shares and convertible bonds. The company has complied with SGX’s listing requirements and will appoint an additional independent director within three months, while its total issued share capital has now increased to 90 million shares.
CapitaLand India Trust (SGX: CY6U)
03 Jul 2024: DBS Bank (SGX: D05) has acquired 1 million units in CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT) at 99.0 Singapore cents per share, totalling S$990,000. Following the transaction on June 27, as reported on 3rd July, DBS now holds 0.656% of CLINT's units.
Cromwell European REIT (SGX: CWBU)
03 Jul 2024: Cromwell European REIT's (Cromwell E-Reit) portfolio valuations for 107 properties increased by 0.6 per cent to 2.2 billion euros (S$3.3 billion) for the first half of 2024, compared to the end of 2023. This rise was driven by stabilising conditions in Europe, improved financing conditions, increased market rents, proactive asset management, and enhancements in environmental performance and tenant amenities, although net valuation adjustments are expected to remain flat after accounting for capital expenditures.
Hiap Seng Industries Ltd (SGX: 1L2)
03 Jul 2024: Hiap Seng Industries recently experienced a ransomware attack, but promptly took steps to isolate its servers and initiate recovery efforts. As of 2nd July, business operations remain unaffected, and third-party experts are conducting forensic investigations while authorities are also involved.
SATS Ltd (SGX: S58)
03 Jul 2024: SATS Ltd is enhancing its network of airport lounges in Singapore, beginning with the upgraded Sats Premier Lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 3, which opens today. The lounge will feature iconic Singaporean dishes and new hawker fare, designed with local artists and students, and inspired by Peranakan tiles, showcasing the Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid and the Crimson Sunbird.
Soon Lian Holdings Ltd (SGX: 5MD)
03 Jul 2024: Soon Lian Holdings announced on 3rd July that it had fallen victim to a ransomware attack, following a similar incident at Hiap Seng Industries. Despite taking immediate action and reporting to the relevant authorities, preliminary investigations have shown no evidence of data exfiltration, and the company's business operations remain largely unaffected.
United Overseas Bank Ltd (SGX: U11)
03 Jul 2024: UOB innovation accelerator UOB FinLab has launched the GreenTech Accelerator 2024, a six-month regional programme aimed at addressing sustainability challenges and fostering partnerships for greentech companies across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. The programme, commencing on 27 June, offers up to S$100,000 for selected companies to pilot sustainable solutions and will conclude in November with a showcase at the Singapore Fintech Festival.
